Specialty Coatings

Specialty coatings can be applied during printing to enhance both the look and functionality of your packaging. Common options include Gloss, Matte, Soft-Touch, Pearlescent, Reticulating, and Spot UV. Whether used individually or in combination, coatings can add depth, texture, and protection to packaging, helping brands achieve a distinct, high-quality finish tailored to their visual identity.

Foil

Foil adds a metallic accent that increases perceived value and shelf appeal. Wynalda offers two main foil techniques:

Cold foil printing is ideal for intricate designs and vibrant metallic colors. Applied inline during the printing process, it can be overprinted with inks to achieve a wide spectrum of metallic shades. This efficient method eliminates post-press manufacturing steps, streamlining production.

Hot foil stamping provides unmatched depth, shine, and texture. Choose from a wide range of golds, silvers, holographic foils, and extensive color options. Though more time-intensive, this process delivers crisp definition and lasting durability.

Variable Printing

With our Landa S11 Nanographic® digital offset press, Wynalda Packaging can print unique artwork or data on every sheet, without sacrificing quality or speed. This technology enables personalized packaging, version testing, track-and-trace serialization, and QR code printing, all with vibrant offset quality results and reduced waste.

Embossing & Debossing

Embossing and debossing add tactile dimension and visual sophistication to packaging. Embossing raises specific design elements—such as logos or patterns—for a bold, textured effect. Debossing presses designs into the surface, creating a subtle, recessed impression that adds depth and elegance. Both techniques enhance sensory appeal and strengthen brand perception.
