We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products and monitoring manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and document start-up quality inspections in accordance with work instructions for:
Printing presses
Die-cutters
Gluers
Bindery equipment
Conduct testing of incoming raw materials and finished products.
Verify proofs, sign-off sheets, customer samples, and retained samples throughout production and at job completion.
Perform routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Inspect finished products, including card sizes, wraps, books, color accuracy, and overall quality.
Monitor production for mixed products and ensure proper segregation of marked materials.
Verify die-cutting operations and material separation procedures.
Inspect and test glued products, including barcode reader and glue detection systems.
Respond to quality pulls and initiate sorting documentation when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of scrap materials and quality-related documentation.
Conduct audits of employees, equipment, and manufacturing processes throughout the facility.
Verify proper line clearance procedures between jobs.
Confirm skid tag accuracy prior to shipment.
Perform military standard (MIL-STD) inspections on finished products.
Complete shortage reports when product counts do not meet requirements.
Issue Corrective and Preventive Action Requests (CAPARs).
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Prior quality inspection experience is a plus.
